Real independence comes from being able to live your lifestyle your way. Day or night, MACS is just a phone call away to help you make that happen.
NIGHT TIME SUPPORT
Our flexible drop-in team operates throughout the night from 6 pm to 6 am to provide you with the support you need when you need it. We can work alone or alongside your primary care team for anywhere from 5 to 55 minutes, whether you book us regularly in advance or call us for occasional unplanned support during the night.
Personal Care
Ensuring you remain comfortable throughout the night is a priority. Contact us for help getting ready for bed, repositioning and turning and assistance with toileting.
Medication Management
We can prompt or assist you to take your prescriptions at the correct times and ensure your night-time medication schedule is never interrupted.
Mobility Support
The MACS team can help you to move safely between your bed, wheelchair or other mobility aides. We are also just a phone call away if you need help walking or moving around your home during night-time hours.
Call-in Support
We recognise that support needs can arise at any time, that is why we offer unplanned support. Get in touch for fast assistance in response to your unplanned support needs during the night.
Comfort and Reassurance
From companionship and reassurance to alleviate discomfort during the night, or help with preparing for bed, MACS is on hand to ensure you get a restful sleep.
Minimum booking time of 15 minutes, plus 30 minutes travel time.
DAY TIME SUPPORT
We understand that you may not need care all the time or even that regularly. Our responsive drop-in team can come into your home or workplace and provide quick support for 5 – 55 minutes that integrates seamlessly into your routine. From 6 am – 2 pm schedule in advance or just give us a call when you need unplanned assistance – we’re here to help you get on with your day.
Personal Care
From showering and bathing to dressing and grooming, toileting, mobility and transfers, MACS provides peace of mind, knowing you are supported to feel your best.
Meal Time Assistance
Simple food preparation including heating up a meal, making a cup of tea or a sandwich, along with feeding assistance if required are easily incorporated into your day.
Medication Support
We can help you to take any prescribed medication at the correct times, keeping track and reducing the risk of missed doses or errors.
Household Management
Everyone wants to live in a clean, safe and inviting environment. Call us when you need light cleaning, laundry assistance and more.

LIFESTYLE ASSISTANCE
The MACS Lifestyle Assistance service is a holistic offering that covers essential personal and household care and also places an emphasis on community participation and social engagement. Lead a fulfilling and independent life your way.
Personal Care
From showering to shaving, dressing (including adaptive clothing needs), bowel and bladder care, and reducing the risk of falls, your daily confidence will be at an all-time high with MACS.
Meal Time Assistance
Meal planning, shopping, cooking and feeding assistance are available to ensure that nutritious meals remain a regular part of your day to support your health and lifestyle.
Medication Schedules
Our team will support your medication schedule to ensure that your health remains a priority from the inside out.
Household Management
From vacuuming to dusting, laundry, light gardening, organising and decluttering, the upkeep of your home keeps it safe and feeling like a sanctuary.

How does MACS operate?
MACS has a network of shifts travelling throughout the night to provide planned and unplanned support, between 5-55 minutes. MACS’ unique responsive service model means that we’re accessible whenever you need us. With personalised and fast turnaround support, MACS’ easy to use overnight drop-in service enables our customers to enjoy an unrestricted and engaging life on their terms.
We also offer a daytime drop in shift between 6am – 2pm.
How is MACS different?
We’re contactable all night, every night of the year – and our unobtrusive service is designed for maximum independence. A team member drops in at a scheduled time to help with exactly what you need, and then says goodbye.
Who does MACS assist?
We assist people that:
- have a physical disability
- are aged 18+ years old
- live within our Ipswich, North or South Brisbane catchment areas
- have the ability to instruct our staff
- be in receipt of funding to pay for support e.g. NDIS, NIISQ, Third Party, or have capacity to pay the fees for our services
Eligibility for Mobile Attendant Care Service
We assist people who:
- Have a physical disability
- Are between 18-65 years old
- Live in the MACS catchment area
- Have the ability to instruct our staff
- Are receiving funding for support – e.g. NDIS, NIISQ, Third Party – or have the capacity to pay for our services

Fee for Service
MACS offers a “fee-for-service” model for those who are not recipients of NDIS or other support funding.
